While we meticulously inspect all products before shipment, we understand that sometimes gear needs to be returned or exchanged. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as your favorite backcountry trail.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order for most items (see exceptions below). All returned items must be:
- In original, unused condition with all tags attached
- In original packaging (especially important for items like adjustable ski poles and board bags)
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps to ensure your return is processed as smoothly as a well-planned backcountry route:
- Contact Us: Email our Milwaukee-based team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use our template below for faster processing.
- Wait for Authorization: We’ll respond within 48 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
- Package Securely: Repack your item(s) using the original packaging (just like you’d protect your backcountry ski gear for transport).
- Ship Back: Send the package to our Milwaukee facility (address below) using a trackable shipping method. We recommend insuring valuable items like ski poles or bike accessories.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, except in cases where we sent the wrong item or it arrived defective. For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost to ship your replacement item globally (excluding Asia and certain remote regions).
Refund Timeline & Methods
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days (we move as fast as DHL delivers your initial order)
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Refund Visibility: 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
Exchange Process
For exchanges (size, color, or different product):
